What is Rooted?

Rooted is a 5-week in-person mindfulness program for women — held in the intimate Even Minded Room in Tyrone, GA.

Each session is a gentle, guided 90-minute experience that weaves together breathwork, body awareness, mindful movement, and reflection. Week by week, you'll build a personal practice — not a perfect one, a real one.

This is not a workshop. It's not a class you sit through.

It's a place to practice being human, in good company.

What you'll explore

Week 1 — The Breath Your first anchor We begin where it always begins — the breath. You'll be introduced to the practice of mindfulness and meet the women walking this journey with you. Through breathwork and your first journaling prompt, you'll discover that calm is never far away.

Week 2 — The Body Coming home to sensations This week we drop beneath the thinking mind and into the body. You'll explore how emotions live in physical sensation, and practice grounding movement and body scan techniques that help you return to steadiness from the inside out.

Week 3 — The Mind Befriending your thoughts The mind is powerful — but it doesn't have to run the show. This week we turn toward our thoughts with curiosity rather than struggle, learning to observe what arises without being swept away by it.

Week 4 — The Senses: Sight & Sound Arriving in the present moment Our senses are portals to the present. This week we use hearing and vision to practice presence — noticing what's here, right now, with fresh attention. Simple. Immediate. Always available.

Week 5 — The Senses: Smell, Touch & Taste Savoring the ordinary We close the journey where life is most tangible — in the richness of everyday sensation. You'll discover that the ordinary moments of your day hold more steadiness than you ever realized.

Hi, I'm Camila — founder of Even Minded and a mind-body guide with over 15 years of experience teaching mindfulness and Yoga across schools, studios, and corporate settings.

I created Rooted because I've seen what happens when a woman finally gives herself permission to slow down. Things shift. Quietly, deeply, for real.

I'm here to guide you through that — with warmth, without pressure, and with deep respect for wherever you are.

Do I need any experience with meditation or yoga? Not at all. Rooted is designed for women who are just beginning — or who've wanted to begin for a while.

What should I bring? Just yourself. Comfortable clothing is welcome. Everything else is provided.

What if I miss a session? Life happens. We'll stay in touch and you'll have access to recordings to keep you connected.

Is this therapy? Rooted is a mindfulness experience, not therapy. It is supportive and personal — but it is not a clinical service.
