For Schools & Educational Communities
Your students are already doing hard things.
Help them do it with more steadiness.
Even Minded brings intentional mind-body experiences into school environments — designed to help students build emotional regulation, improve focus, and develop the kind of inner resilience that supports learning, relationships, and everyday life.
The Pressure Students Carry
Children and adolescents are navigating more than most adults realize. Academic demands, social stress, transitions, and the constant hum of overstimulation don't just affect mood — they affect a student's ability to be present, to learn, and to feel safe in their own body.
The research is clear. Students who learn to regulate their nervous systems perform better academically, connect more authentically with peers, and develop skills that follow them well beyond the classroom. But that kind of learning requires more than a poster on the wall about deep breathing.
Real change happens when the practices are woven into the rhythm of school life.
Ways to work together
Single Sessions & Workshops
A focused experience designed around your school's specific moment — whether that's the start of a new year, a season of transitions, or a special wellness day. Breath-based tools, movement, and mindfulness practices that students can actually use.
Ideal for: wellness days, staff development, parent education nights, themed school events
Recurring Programs
Deeper change takes time and repetition. A recurring program — weekly or biweekly — guides students through a progressive experience, building skills layer by layer so that what they learn becomes part of how they move through their days.
Typical formats: 6–8 weeks | in-person | customized to age group, class size, and school culture
Ongoing Partnerships
For schools serious about weaving wellbeing into their culture, an ongoing partnership keeps the momentum alive throughout the school year. Sessions can be woven into the regular schedule — as a classroom offering, a small group program, or a complement to existing social-emotional learning curricula.
Ideal for: SEL integration, whole-school wellness initiatives
Why Even Minded
My path to this work has been anything but linear — and I think that's what makes it meaningful.
Before I became a mind-body teacher, I spent years in project management, events, and operations — learning how to hold complexity, meet people where they are, and create experiences that actually land. For over 15 years, I've also been studying and teaching practices that help people come back to themselves when the pressure gets to be too much.
That work took me into schools. In Chicago, I taught mind-body practices through a nonprofit organization, working across multiple schools with students of all ages — from preschoolers all the way through high school. At one Montessori school, my students ranged from preschool through third grade. I learned firsthand what works with young bodies and young nervous systems — how to introduce breath and movement in ways that are age-appropriate, accessible, and genuinely useful in a classroom setting.
I've seen these practices make a real difference in how students move through their days — in their ability to focus, to self-regulate, and to feel more at ease in their own bodies. That's what I want to bring to your school.
